A Virtual 5K and 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk to Support Junior Building Tomorrow
Building Tomorrow works with community leaders in Uganda to build schools and train teachers for Uganda's youth. Each school costs $50,000 US to build, supply, and train staff. Communities pledge to support and work to incorporate the school into their lives while working to give kids a better future. Junior Building Tomorrow is a group of US middle and high school students who are working to build and supply a school.
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN/WALK?
A Virtual Run is a 5K that can be completed in your own neighborhood, at a local park, or even on the treadmill. Sign up, gather some friends, decide on a route, and get out and move! The best part is, you'll know that each step you take is helping Junior Building Tomorrow!
USE THE IYR VIRTUAL RACE APP
The IYR Virtual mobile app syncs with all virtual races hosted on ITS YOUR RACE, including our event! After you are registered, click the link below to find out more information about the mobile app and how to use it for tracking your 5K or 1-mile race. You can also upload photos from your own personal race course, or share a selfie at the end!
Registrants can begin running their race on April 25, 2021 at 12AM EST. Participants must complete their virtual race and submit their results by 11:59PM on May 15, 2021. After this time, results can no longer be posted.
